Born in Germany and raised in New Jersey. Kevin graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelors Degree in Journalism, Radio-TV-Film, and a minor in Criminal Justice. With a strong passion to pursue a career in the Film Industry, Kevin landed employment with Universal Studios - Hollywood where for 20 years he has worked in Post Production and held a number of positions that increased his skills and knowledge for the industry. His time spent working as a Sound Recordist gave him the opportunity for a list of film credits with the following movies; Senseless, Speed 2: Cruise Control, Balto, Nothing to Lose, The Nutty Professor, Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls and The Pebble and the Penguin.
In 2014 Kevin wrote, directed, and produced his first short film, The Bus Stop, starring his son Myles Brooks. The film has been nominated 5 times which includes 2 Best Short film Awards and 2 Best Short Film Nominations . He then went on to write and direct two more Shorts, God Hates Baseball, and his most recent work, Raptors, which is currently making the festival circuit and has been well received. Raptors the feature is his next project and is in the pre-production stages.
